What is QuickLaunch?
QuickLaunch allows you to tag your sites and launch them at a single click.
How do I setup QuickLaunch?
To assign a site available for QuickLaunch, you make sure that the "QuickLaunch" checkbox is checked when creating the site. Another easy way to set a site for QuickLaunch is to right-click on the site in your Console and selecting "Set QuickLaunch On".
Alternatively, you can turn QuickLaunch off by unchecking the "QuickLaunch" checkbox or to right-click on the site in your Console and selecting "Set QuickLaunch Off".
How do I use QuickLaunch?
Once sites have been assigned to QuickLaunch, their titles will be in blue. These sites may be launched by clicking on the Dash6 icon in the upper right corner of the group's box.
What are these messages about popups when I click on the Dash6 QuickLaunch icon?
These messages will appear based on your browser's security settings. It is recommended that you either "allow" or "temporarily allow" these requests because these are the QuicklLaunch sites attempting to open in new windows.
Dash6 Tool for the Google Toolbar
What's the Dash6 Tool for the Google Toolbar?
The Dash6 Tool is a convenient way to quickly add sites to your Dash6 account. With the Dash6 Tool, you can add a site that you're currently viewing to your Dash6 account simply by clicking on the Dash6 Tool icon.
I've clicked on the Dash6 Tool on this site I was viewing, now what?
The Dash6 Tool adds sites to your "Temporary Bookmarks" group without you having to have Dash6 open in a browser window. You can organize sites added with the Dash6 Tool the next time you log into Dash6.
What do I need to install the Dash6 Tool?
If you already have the Google Toolbar installed, then you need nothing else. If you don't, you will be prompted to install the Google Toolbar before installing the Dash6 Tool.
Do I need the Dash6 Tool to use the site?
No. You can still enjoy the benefits Dash6 without using the Dash6 Tool. The Dash6 Tool is simply an easier way to quickly get sites into your Dash6 account.

What happens when I click on "Invite a Friend"?
The "Invite a Friend" button sends out an email to Dash6 users that you think might be interested in your collection of links.
I've subscribed to a group, but I don't want to keep all of the links in there. Can I edit this group?
Absolutely! By subscribing to a group, you're making a copy of that collection of sites. You may freely edit, add and/or delete sites that suit your preferences. Moreover, the group name may be edited as well.
What are "Site Username" and "Site Password" used for?
"Site Username" and "Site Password" are used for storing specific login information for certain sites. Not all sites will be able to be automatically logged into based on their security settings.
What are "Public", "Private" and "Semi-Protected" used for when editing Groups and Sites?
"Public", "Private" and "Semi-Protected" are the levels of security applied to Groups and Sites.
- Public - These sites are available for all Dash6 members to see through the Control Panel's "Content" and "Top Feeds" tabs.
- Private - Private sites are only available to the creator of those sites. These sites are not available in the Control Panel's "Content" and "Top Feeds" tabs for anyone else.
- Semi-Protected - These sites are available based on the "Password" field when creating the site. These sites are available in the Control Panel's "Content" and "Top Feeds" tabs, but to view specifics, a password must be provided.
